The Red Guild (TRG)
Advancing crypto security through research, tools, and education
The Red Guild is an independent security research collective that advances crypto security through public research, open-source tools, and education. They build threat simulation platforms like the Phishing Dojo, publish deep technical research on VSCode container escapes and off-chain attack vectors, and run security awareness campaigns at major conferences. They operate as a public good — their research and tools are freely available to everyone.
Mission
To advance crypto security with research, tools, and resources for the public good. We investigate real-world attack vectors, build educational platforms, and share knowledge freely to strengthen the entire ecosystem's defenses.
Why This Matters
Most blockchain security focuses on smart contracts, but the reality is that most attacks exploit human factors: phishing, social engineering, compromised development environments. The Red Guild fills a critical gap by researching these off-chain attack vectors and building tools to defend against them. Their work is free for everyone — but producing it is not. The sustainability of independent security research is one of the ecosystem's most pressing challenges.
How to Support
Financial Support
Fund their research
Direct financial support enables continued independent security research, tool development, and free educational resources that benefit the entire ecosystem.

Contribute to research
Security researchers can collaborate on investigations, contribute to open-source tools like the Phishing Dojo, or help expand threat intelligence coverage.
Learn moreShare their work
Amplifying The Red Guild's research and tools through your own networks helps reach more developers and users who need this knowledge. Invite them to speak at your conference or event.
Run security awareness in your org
Adopt their frameworks and tools within your own organization. Use the Phishing Dojo to train your team. You don't need to donate — just applying their work multiplies its impact.
